Maynard Nexsen is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join its growing Labor & Employment Practice Group in Birmingham, Alabama.

Maynard Nexsen is a full-service law firm with more than 550 attorneys in 24 offices from coast to coast across the United States. The firm was formed in 2023 when two long-standing successful, client-centered firms combined to form a powerful national team.

The firm seeks a dynamic associate with at least 1 year of employment law experience to join the team in its growing Birmingham, Alabama Office. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, excellent collaborators, detail-oriented, and strong writers, with a passion for building genuine relationships with firm clients and their colleagues. Strong analytical and communication skills are also required, as well as a desire to obtain hands-on experience in all aspects of proceedings before administrative agencies and in state and federal courts. Prior clerkship experience and excellent academic performance are highly valued.
