Responsible for balancing and replenishing cash and coin bank for their assigned cage. Ensures currency banks are being operated according to procedure. Responsible for directing, training and developing staff. Oversees all cashiers’ duties and verifies all loose and bundled currency and TITO transactions. Verifies the processing of cash advance request; cashing of travelers checks, money orders and checks, as well as chip redemptions. Responsible for maintenance of automated jackpot, automated teller, and bill breaker machines. Processes jackpots. Protects the integrity and company assets. Implements all established department and company policies, procedures, internal controls and government regulations on assigned shift. Promotes positive public and employee relations. Performs other duties as assigned

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Responsible for the balancing, verifying and replenishing of cash and coin banks for Cashiers during designated shift.
• Directs and develops staff on assigned shift.
• Monitors frontline Cashiers as much as possible.
• Verifies cash transactions of $1,000 or more.
• Ensures compliance with Title 31 requirements (MTL’s, obtain patron ID and ss#)
• Performs all monetary transactions presented, adhering to all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls and government regulations.
• Maintains a log to facilitate communications between shifts.
• Safeguards company assets.
• Prepares all required paperwork.
• Service, up keep and maintenance of self-service ticket redemption, bill breaker, and automated teller machines
• Must maintain a pleasant, congenial, personable and positive attitude.
• Good Attendance/Well groomed, dressed in a professional manner.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
• Acts on behalf of the Shift Supervisor when absent

PHYSICAL –

• Ability to maneuver entire gaming floor, stand, sit, bend, stoop, twist, lift, and reach.
• Ability to perform moderate lifting - 30 to 50 lbs.

MENTAL –

• Ability to work in confined area for long period.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide without a calculator.
• Ability to operate a ten- key calculator.
• Ability to make decisions.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent and prior money handling experience.
• Must have a friendly congenial personality.
• Must be able to work with others as a team player.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• No felony convictions.
