Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Painter to join our team. As the lead painter, you will be responsible for overseeing the painting process for residential and commercial projects. Your expertise in construction painting, masonry, and renovating will be crucial in ensuring a high-quality finish for our clients. You will also be required to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work site, which will be a key aspect of your role.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of painters to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct site inspections to identify any potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including plaster and masonry, using hand tools and appropriate materials.
- Estimate the materials and labor required for each project, including construction estimating for large-scale projects.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring that all necessary safety measures are in place.
- Collaborate with other team members, including contractors and designers, to ensure that projects meet the client's expectations.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the painting process and implement solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction painting, masonry, dry wall and renovating.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating principles.
- Basic math skills to accurately estimate materials and labor.
- Experience with hand tools and ability to use them safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with residential and commercial painting techniques.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work site.
- Commitment to safety and a willingness to follow safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.34 - $23.72 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
