JOB DESCRIPTION
Legal Assistant/Real Estate Coordinator
Solo attorney law practice seeking a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills to join our real estate team. Competitive pay, great working environment and reasonable hours. Experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Coordinate closings and carry out closing instructions from lending institutions
- Assign title work and review title reports
- Generate title insurance commitments and policies
- Assist attorney in drafting/review of deeds and other legal documents
- Schedule closings and oversee disbursement of funds and recordation of legal documents
- Implement administrative processes to improve workflow
- Team oriented and customer service driven
- Maintain high level of professionalism with clients, lenders, agents, and all parties during a transaction
Qualifications and skills required:
- High school diploma or higher
- Working knowledge of Word and Microsoft Outlook
- Working knowledge of Landtech software is preferred, but not required
- Ability to maintain calendar and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently, multitask, and work under pressure
- Dependable, friendly and professional demeanor
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
