UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Twin Lakes Mental Health Clinic is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to support their detox department.

Location: 224 Twin Lakes Road Somerset, PA 15501

Sign-On Bonus:

• $7,500 sign-on bonus available for nurses with over one year of experience
• $5,000 sign-on bonus available for Graduate Nurses and nurses with less than 1 year of experience.

Pay Scale: $18.41 - $27.42, based on experience

Responsibilities:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, provides routine patient care in a detox department. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, communicating with the healthcare team, following established procedures, creating care plans, documenting patient conditions, and providing patient education. The LPN participates in unit activities, supports colleagues, and seeks continuous improvement in patient care. They maintain professional relationships, understand cultural differences, and promote work-life balance and safety in the workplace.

Patient Population: Teens and adults - addiction medicine services

Qualifications:

• Licensure: LPN
• Certification: BLS or CPR
• Experience: New graduates considered
• Education: Completion of LPN program (if graduated before 2012, LPN will need proof of completion for IV therapy program)

Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift. Rotating weekends and holidays.
