Job Description

We are seeking a full time Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to:
- Off load and palletize milk and other food product from ocean containers by following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Verify item quantities and code dates on purchase orders or receiving documents.
- Operate various types of material handling equipment to unload and put away pallets of product.
- Follow established safety standards for proper food handling and code date rotation.
- Help with the selection of Customer Orders for Will Call and Neighbor Island warehouse transfers.
- Participate in the general housekeeping of the warehouse.
- Perform similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- 6+ months of distribution or warehouse experience
- Strong team player that thrives in a fast moving environment
- Proficient in the English language
- Able to communicate effectively in written and oral form
- Carry out both oral and written instructions
- Perform basic mathematical functions- addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs
- Able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, and sit intermittently up to 10 hours per day
- Able to work in temperatures ranging from -15 °F to 88 °F
