**Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for originating and processing residential loans, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with the sales and accounting departments. This candidate should be stron on FHA origination. You will be working on a team where leads will be supplied and a plan will be a place to also generate leads under the main loan offifer. We also specialize in Renovation Loans and Down Payment Assistanced.

**Duties**

The Loan Officer will be responsible for the following duties:

- Originate and process residential and commercial loans, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

- Meet with potential borrowers to discuss loan options and provide personalized recommendations.

- Prepare and review loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

- Conduct credit checks and verify borrower income and employment.

- Negotiate loan terms and interest rates with borrowers and other parties.

- Utilize FNMA guidelines and accounting software to analyze loan applications and make informed lending decisions.

- Review and manage loan contracts, ensuring that all terms and conditions are met.

- Collaborate with the mortgage servicing team to ensure timely loan payments and address any borrower concerns.

- Maintain accurate records of loan applications, processing, and servicing.

- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to borrower inquiries and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

**Experience**

The successful Loan Officer will have the following experience:

- Proven experience in the mortgage industry, preferably with a focus on loan origination and processing.

- Strong knowledge of FNMA guidelines and mortgage regulations.

- Experience with accounting software and contract management.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to negotiate loan terms and work effectively with borrowers and other parties.

- Proficiency in 10-key typing and basic computer skills.

- Strong analytical and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Skills**

- Proficiency in FNMA guidelines and mortgage regulations.

- Experience working in a bank or mortgage servicing environment.

- Familiarity with accounting software.

- Strong contract management skills.

- Excellent 10-key typing skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $73,490.00 - $93,584.00 per year
