You will be part of the SSAMESA Pump, cyclone and Valve Order Execution team, who are dedicated to supporting the PCV products in this geographical area. By joining this team, you will have the opportunity to work in a multinational, multicultural, and diverse organization.
Role Purpose
The Logitics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, supplies, and equipment from one place to another. This includes arranging transportation, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery and coordination between customer, customs, various certification organizations and FLSmidth.
Your Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations.
  • Overseeing the flow of goods, supplies, and equipment from procurement to delivery.
  • Arrange for transportation of goods and supplies, including booking carriers and negotiating rates.
  • Ensuring effective distribution of products.
  • Managing inventory, storage, and transportation to ensure timely delivery.
  • Analyzing and optimizing logistics procedures.
  • Identifying bottlenecks and suggesting solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Communicating with stakeholders.
  • Building relationships with suppliers, retailers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards
What you bring
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in logistics software and technology.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics or related field preferred
