**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Overnight Pet Sitter for long-term assignments lasting a week or more. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to pets in their homes during both nighttime and occasional daytime visits. **Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide consistent food and water according to the pets' regular schedule, including daytime visits for feeding.

- Walk dogs and engage in interactive playtime to ensure physical and mental stimulation.

- Administer medication as per the owners' instructions, ensuring accurate and timely dosing.

- Maintain clean litter boxes, cages, and living areas to ensure a hygienic environment.

- Monitor pets closely for any signs of health or behavioral issues, promptly addressing concerns.

- Adhere strictly to the specific care instructions provided by the pet owners.

- Create a safe, comfortable, and clean environment for all pets under your care.

- Offer companionship and comfort, particularly to pets who may experience separation anxiety.

**Skills and Qualifications:**

- Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or a similar role is essential.

- Strong proficiency in animal handling, including administering medications and providing specialized care.

- Knowledge of equine care is an advantage, though not required.

- Background as a veterinary assistant, kennel worker, or veterinary technician is highly beneficial.

- Ability to handle and restrain animals when necessary, ensuring their safety and well-being.

- A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing top-notch care.
