JOB DESCRIPTION:

The machine operator position consists of using saw machines based on production needs. This position includes using a Tape Measurer, work gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection while performing this job. The position also requires constant standing, lifting, bending down, pushing, and pulling with vibrations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Different types of Saw Machines
• Stacking cut wood manually on pallets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production working environment
• Handles and operates all equipment in a careful and safe manner
• Keeping all work areas neat and clear of potential hazards
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order and storing them properly
• Informing management of any safety-related issues
• Keeping equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Operate the tools in a safe manner according to OSHA safety and company guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Fast-paced manufacturing line experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently
• Ability to read a tape measure and do basic math functions
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• Must be goal-oriented and driven to succeed
• Must have verifiable work history and references
• Must have reliable transportation to arrive at work for scheduled shift
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
