UCX is currently seeking a Maintenance Area Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and repair operations of the organization's facilities, equipment, and machinery through planning, coordinating, and directing all maintenance activities to ensure machine reliability and minimize unexpected downtime.

Support and provide guidance to the management staff on daily maintenance operations.

Ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep the organization accident-free.

Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting the facility, equipment, and production.

Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.

Ensure that spare parts, components, and tools needed for maintenance are always available by ordering, forecasting, and monitoring material inventories.

Develop, implement, monitor, and optimize the organization maintenance management plan in accordance with its goals to improve uptime and minimize costs.

Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.

Direct corrective action of any maintenance or manufacturing problems that may arise; work with Compliance Manager in development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
