Job Description

Job Summary:

The Injection Molding Maintenance Manager is responsible for directing a small team of maintenance staff to oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities and business operations. Must have experience in the understanding of troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control circuits with a good understanding of PLC I/O functions by means of print reading. Must be well versed in maintenance process, health and safety regulation, and have an aptitude in administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting, scheduling and preventative maintenance.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

·        Develop and ensure implementation of maintenance procedures.

·        Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.

·        Check electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems to ensure functionality.

·        Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.

·        Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff.

·        Monitor inventory and place orders when necessary.

·        Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.

·        Manage relationships with contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with safety protocol.

·        Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.

·        Ensure health and safety policies are complied with and strictly adhered to.

Essential Competencies:

·        Proven experience as maintenance manager or another managerial role.

·        Experience in planning maintenance operations.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.

·        Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.

·        Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, structural design, electrical systems, etc.

·        Degree from vocational school or BS/BA in business administration or facility management, Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) or equivalent experience a plus.
