Job Title: Maintenance Technician
BASIC FUNCTION
Provides maintenance support to manufacturing plant and/or assigned manufacturing operational area. This position acts as the key resource for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. This position maintains key communications between operational areas, maintenance personnel, and manufacturing engineering. Additionally, this position works with its peers to communicate best practices and machine/process specific learning to make the entire maintenance team stronger. Must be available to work frequent overtime and have own tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment.
Perform Preventive Maintenance on production equipment.
Facilitate continuous improvement and optimization by working closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Line Lead Techs to support production and make manufacturing processes more reliable and productive.
Install, Relocate, or Decommission new or existing manufacturing equipment.
Works on special projects for Manufacturing Engineering.
Completes assigned tasks on Maintenance Work Orders.
Provide machine repair part information to Maintenance Planner to assure that required parts are ordered quickly.
Work with outside vendors and/or contractors to determine best method of repair or to troubleshoot equipment.
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair to facilities and grounds
Other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or GED
College, Technical School, or Apprenticeship advantageous
Must have experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.
Experience Required:
Minimum of 2-5 years experience in industrial maintenance in automotive industry or high volume production
Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blue prints, and schematics
Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs:
Allen Bradley SLC500/MicroLogix PLCs using RSLogix
Experience Optional but a plus:
Ability to use Lathes, End Mills, and Surface Grinders
Welding
Allen Bradley SLC5000 using RSLogix5000
Siemens PLC control systems (S7 Family)
Human Machine Interface (HMI)
Robot Systems
AC, DC, and Servo Drives
Fabrication of basic fixtures and jigs
Certifications Required:
Certified Electrician or other Industrial Maintenance certifications a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
