Apartment Maintenance

We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the

responsibility to preserve and improve the condition and functionality of premises.

You should be a team player able to work closely and in association with other

technicians, property managers and company personnel. You will perform

maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical,

and general maintenance repair. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough

professional with a practical mind and attention to detail.

Responsibilities, Skills, Requirements:

• Upkeep, appearance, and Curb appeal of property grounds
• Able to Perform manual repairs of building exterior and interiors, components and systems
• Complete work orders and make readies in a courteous and timely manner
• Maintain Electrical, heating and plumbing systems.
• Able to maintain proper quantity of supplies on hand. Place orders when necessary of parts and fixtures needed for repairs while keeping apartments in a uniformed look
• Able to diagnose and solve issues with appliances, electrical, & plumbing components versus using outside vendors or replacing a unit unless necessary
• Basic understanding of apartment electrical, plumbing, and heating systems
• Knowledgeable with plumbing connections such as PEX, CPVC, PVC and Galvanized piping
• Knowledgeable of Water Heaters
• Basic knowledge of HVAC system preferred. Certificate of HVAC a plus
• Working knowledge of basic and specialty tools associated to apartment maintenance
• Own basic hand tools
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Driver license preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule: 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
• HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Preferred)
