Well-respected Regional Property Management firm in business over 30 years with an expanding fee management portfolio operating on the east coast is looking for resourceful, community-minded team members.

We are currently seeking to fill a position for a Maintenance Technician in the greater metropolitan area. The Maintenance Technician will maintain the physical integrity of the community. This involves insuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The Maintenance Technician will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Diagnoses and performs minor and routine maintenance/repair, as directed, involving some of the following on a daily basis:

• Electrical - Examines and repairs electric circuits and components.
• Plumbing - Repairs and replaces piping systems and fixtures including opening clogged drains.
• A/C and heating systems.
• Appliances Examines diagnoses and repairs all components of all major appliances.
• Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings.
• Tile, carpet, flooring.
• Roofing, gutters, fasteners.
• Interior/exterior lights.
• Fireplaces, ceiling fans.
• Gas fixtures and appliances (where applicable).
• Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors.
• Boiler, gas and electric.
• Door locks, mailboxes and locks.
• Security systems (where applicable).
• Ceiling leaks.
• Walls - Repair damaged plaster/drywall surfaces of walls and ceilings matching existing surfaces.
• Paint - Repairs and paints any areas required.
