Mammography Tech- PT

Shift: Part-Time Days, 8a-4p, Mon-Fri, NO Call & NO Weekends

As a Mammography Technologist at Turkey Creek Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

• Current BLS from AHA or ARC
• Current ARRT registration with an advanced level credential in Mammography & active license issued by the State of Tennessee may be required.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

About the Job:

• This individual, under indirect supervision, is responsible for performing and assisting with breast imaging procedures including mammography and bone density studies.
• Assists the Radiologist with interventional procedures such as biopsies, wire placements and other procedures.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
