The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team:

We are seeking a Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to join our CSR team supporting the Company’s philanthropic, volunteer, and community-facing initiatives.

The CSR Manager will develop, execute, and manage STEM initiatives that support the global CSR strategy and promote employee volunteerism across RTX communities. This role will ensure the coordination of an integrated approach to CSR programs to include marketing, branding, public relations, government relations, social media, and employee engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a can-do-attitude, exceptional program management skills, work well independently and as part of a larger team, and have a track record of success developing and implementing social impact strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supporting RTX’s STEM Partnerships:
  • Serve as a key member of the CSR Team supporting and driving engagement with key community stakeholders including RTX employees; non-profit and non-governmental organizations; customers; and other partners at local, national, and global levels that advance the company’s CSR strategy and business goals.
  • Support social impact programs and initiatives that further the Company’s CSR objective of Lifelong Learning, including supporting RTX’s Global Month of Service.
  • Manage, analyze, and evaluate select RTX STEM programs and partnerships to ensure alignment across the U.S. and key global geographies and make recommendations to better refine partnership impact and effectiveness.
  • Build relationships with RTX Employee Resource Groups to drive engagement with STEM signature partners and volunteer opportunities.
  • Support RTX STEM program’s impact measurement and evaluation activities by communicating its impact internally and externally.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues across Communication, Talent, DEI, Government Relations, and business CSR teams to drive alignment with CSR STEM objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum six years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three years experience.
  • Minimum six years of experience working in social impact, corporate citizenship, STEM outreach, and community relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to address challenges strategically and analytically; developing compelling solutions that builds consensus.
  • Proven experience planning, leading, and executing initiatives, events, and activities for employees, nonprofits, and community stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive internal and external relationships with a proven track record of engaging employees or the public on large scale initiatives.
  • Motivated project manager who meets deadlines, maintains steady performance under pressure and can multi-task.
  • Experienced in navigating fast-paced global environments working cross-functionally across multiple lines of businesses.
  • Proven ability to work in moments of ambiguity, remaining flexible, and delivering results.
  • Demonstrated effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient technical skills. Experienced using Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Willing to work hybrid from Farmington, CT; if not local to Farmington, CT, then willing to work hybrid from any other main communications hubs, to include: Arlington, VA or the Washington D.C area, McKinney, TX or the Dallas area, Tucson, AZ, El Segundo, CA, or Boston, MA

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
