Marketing & Event Coordinator
Employment Type: Fulltime/Contract
Contract – 3 months (Mid-September 2024 - Mid-December 2024)
Work location: Remote/Onsite

About the Role
Join us in making an impact at one of the exciting events in the tech industry! We are a dynamic team organizing a high-tech corporate event in Las Vegas this December, and we are seeking a talented Marketing and Event Coordinator to drive success in our event execution.
The Marketing and Event Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of the event. This is individual contributor role which requires a strategic thinker with a passion for on the field event management and marketing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in coordinating large-scale events and implementing marketing strategies that drive engagement, attendance and a great event experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Coordination:
- Collaborate with the internal teams to finalize attendees, event details, venue setup, logistics, and vendor management.
- Develop and maintain event timelines, ensuring all milestones are met on schedule.
- Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring seamless execution and addressing any issues that arise.
- Co-ordinate with Travel team to make necessary travel arrangements for the attendees.
- Work with the required vendors for gifts, catering and other food & beverage needs as required.
- Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Create and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to drive event awareness and attendance.
- Engaging content for digital marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and the event website.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to produce promotional materials, such as flyers, banners, and social media graphics.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for event sponsors, partners, and vendors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance to optimize outreach strategies.
- Keep track of costing & budgeting as per the guidelines provided.
- Provide regular updates and reports on event progress, marketing metrics, and post-event analysis.
Mandatory Skills
- Excellent organizational, co-ordination and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and web content management systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Optional Skills
- Experience with AWS or tech industry events is a plus.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Required Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale events and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Work-shift Timings (If required)
- 8 hours a day, 5 days a week from Mid Sep to Mid Dec.
- Must be open to work on the Thanksgiving weekend to put the event together starting on Dec 1 to Dec 6.

Trianz compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay ranges between USD . Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
