What will you be doing?

The Alcohol and Drug Trainee HYBRID position will facilitate small groups supporting clients rebuilding their lives from challenges with substance use.

This includes conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing support and guidance to clients throughout the recovery process.

The trainee will work closely with a team of licensed therapists and addiction specialists to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Follow individualized treatment plans based on the needs and goals of each client
• Provide support and guidance to clients during the recovery process, including through one-on-one counseling and group therapy sessions
• Collaborate with a team of therapists and addiction specialists to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of substance abuse and addiction

What are we looking for?

• Maryland ADT Trainee Certificate
• Previous experience in the field of substance abuse and addiction, either through internships or entry-level positions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and provide support in a compassionate and empathetic manner
• Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate with other professionals
• Passion for helping others overcome substance abuse and addiction issues

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
