Responsible for providing direction, coordination, and follow-up necessary to the administration of scheduling orders within the plant. Supervises and develops the Production Trial Run, Engineering Change Request and GEPICS Coordinators. • High level of GEPICS knowledge • High level of POMS knowledge • High level of MGO knowledge • Manages and communicates plant operating plans • Develops corporate “M” schedules into plant operating plan Works with production shops to prioritize aged and high visibility orders to support timely delivery • • Coordinates replacement and disposition of orders damaged or mis-built • Maintains and monitors the corporate “vin” procedure • Participates in weekly Order Fulfillment discussions • Provides studies as required to support future plant strategic objectives Maintains “auto sequence” rules Spacing Batch painting Option leveling to improve assembly productivity Production constraints • • Participates in planning of special builds and PTR's • Controls “MGO” pull ahead, line fill and lean controls • Implements, monitors, and maintains GMS elements • Assists in option penetration forecasting Interfaces with marketing division for: Expedite requests Order changes Diversions Unique customer satisfaction issues • Communicates and generates all parts lists for special builds (i.e. MVB’s, new options, launch, buildouts, paints) • • Establishes build-out/start-up restrictions • Maintains MGO pull ahead controls, over/under builds in MGO Develops and communicates “build to plan” initiatives Publishes performance Maintains scorecard charts • • Performs plant recalcs, controls recalcs for sequencers that effect stability • Main contact for supplier schedule inquiries from Ryder LLP • Special projects as required (API, BPD, GMS, etc)
Basic knowledge of vehicle scheduling, MGO • Extensive knowledge in MS Office applications • High level of analytical ability and problem solving Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners to meet mutual goals required. • • Above average oral and written communication skills required • Knowledge of computer software as it pertains to Mainframe applications, Excel, GEPICS • Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience in plant material operations or vehicle scheduling
The role will include relocation benefit for candidate that lives 50 or more miles from location. This role is categorized as onsite.
