Primary Responsibilities:
Ability to key material requests into SAP
Accurately pick material from storage machines with specific SAP locations and batches
Deliver material to the proper locations across the manufacturing floor
Responsible for proper storage of material and filing of documentation
Conduct inventory audits as required
Handle urgent need requests from internal and external customers
Report, update, transact and provide information that facilitates the general repair process
Handle any additional tasks as requested
Weekend (Saturday) commitment is occasionally required to meet customer needs
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Above average keyboard skills
Capable of maintaining short lead times and handling special requests.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to multitask while remaining flexible to changing requirements and deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work and interact with various levels within the organization
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, typically 2 years of relevant experience is required.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of SAP
Proficiency with computer-based software, specifically Microsoft Office.
This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
