Position Overview:

The Materials Management Associate I (Mon - Fri 8:00am - 4:30pm) will assist in a variety of materials management and production planning functions; including, but not limited to, purchasing, inventory management, packaging, shipping, receiving, documentation, fulfilling internal material requests and handling the distribution of goods and supplies. This position will work within defined protocols and procedures.

Essential Duties:

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Receive, verify, inventory, or deliver incoming materials.
  • Facilitate shipment of outgoing materials or products.
  • Maintain inventory and associated records for raw materials, intermediates, disposables, consumables, reagents, and spare parts.
  • Purchase materials to maintain designated inventory levels.
  • Provide support for inventory control of non-conforming materials.
  • Execute NCMR segregation, containment, and disposition phases.
  • Perform RIM review and release labeling.
  • Perform Process Order checks (verifies materials/batches available for productions).
  • Handle products using material handling equipment.
  • Develop, process, and maintain purchase order requisitions.
  • Assist with operations process and improvement projects.
  • Ability to accurately follow procedures with minimal direction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Support and comply with the company's safety, environmental, and Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
  • Ability to comply with any applicable safety or personal protective equipment requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in business, operations, or related field; or high school diploma/GED and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or material handling related operation.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer skills.
  • Ability to be forklift certified.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a biotech manufacturing environment, preferably in a GMP and/or ISO13485 environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work seated for approximately 40% of a typical working day and standing for about 60%.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen for about 65% of a typical working day

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 5% of working time, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Salary Range:

$35,000.00 - $56,000.00

 

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
