The Aspire Counseling Program of Pompton Plains is recruiting for a part-time Math Tutors for its adolescent program for grades 9-12. Flexible Schedule/Days

Monday- Friday - 10 am - 2 pm. The subjects areas include Algebra - Geometry.

Responsibilities include:

-Guiding students to complete math assignments

-Assisting the lead teacher in daily monitoring of academic progress

-Individualized instruction in math subjects

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience tutoring grade level

Ability to share your love of mathematics

Degree in mathematics with teaching and or tutoring experience

Familiarity with math curriculum for grades 9-12

Excellent math skills and willingness to share your love of Math.

Excellent communications skills, enthusiasm for teaching subject.

Certification not required, demonstrated competency in mathematics
