Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers in delivering quality care to patients in a family medicine setting
• Perform phlebotomy procedures with proficiency and ensure patient comfort
• Take and record vital signs, and medical histories, and update patient records
• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
• Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider
• Provide patient education and instructions on treatment plans
• Assist with routine office procedures, including EKGs and other diagnostic tests
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Manage lab specimens and coordinate with external labs as needed
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred
• Phlebotomy certification or proven experience is required
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a family medicine or primary care setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
• CPR certification is preferred

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $15.00 - $20.00/hour.
