Requirements

  • Completion of a medical assistant program and 1+ years of experience.
  • Strong patient care skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient service.
  • Familiarity with medical coding and billing, or ability to quickly learn related software
  • Experience administering injections
  • Ability to figure things out, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient service and teamwork.

Duties

Duties of this role include:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications and injections
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation
  • Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, billing, and coding

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.30 - $19.30 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
