```Duties```
- Review and process medical bills and claims for reimbursement
- Verify accuracy of patient information, insurance coverage, and billing codes
- Utilize medical coding systems such as ICD-9 and ICD-10 to assign appropriate codes to diagnoses and procedures
- Ensure compliance with insurance guidelines and regulations
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, and appeal if necessary
- Maintain patient records and update billing information as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing discrepancies
- Stay updated on changes in medical coding and billing practices

```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of medical office procedures, medical collection, and medical billing processes
- Familiarity with medical coding systems such as ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG, and CPT codes
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical billing software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of healthcare insurance policies and regulations
