Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Review and verify patient information and insurance coverage to ensure accuracy in billing.

• Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries or discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit claims for reimbursement, following up on unpaid or denied claims.
• Manage medical records to ensure all documentation is complete and accurate for billing purposes.
• Assist in resolving any issues related to medical collections or payment disputes.
• Collaborate with the medical office team to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency.

Experience

• Previous experience in medical billing or coding is preferred, with a strong understanding of medical records management.
• Familiarity with various coding systems, including ICD-10, ICD-9, and CPT codes.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all billing processes.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, providers, and insurance representatives.
