The Medical Lab Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic quality routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience. Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures and maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements. Registered or eligible for registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP), or CLT (NCA) or equivalent is required. BLS certification is preferred. This position can be used to recruit for any shift, including both day and night.

Education

• Associates or better in Medical Technology or related field

• C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac
