We are a busy, well-established Ophthalmology practice in downtown San Mateo and we are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist/Scheduler. Epic experience is preferred but we are willing to train if you have strong medical office experience.

Some of the duties to be performed:

• Greeting & assisting patients with registration and scheduling follow up appointments
• Collecting insurance and demographic information
• Collecting payments and co-pay
• Explaining insurance benefits and allowances

This is a Full-Time position, 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday thru Friday. We offer Kaiser medical, Delta dental, 401K and an awesome work environment.

Ideal candidates have experience as a medical scheduler, medical assistant, medical office, medical front desk, patient service representative, and/or medical administrative assistant.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
