*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented Records Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office setting and possess knowledge of medical terminology and records systems.
*Duties*
- Organize and maintain patient records in accordance with established procedures
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all records
- Retrieve and file medical records as needed
- Assist in the transfer of records between departments or facilities
- Respond to requests for medical records in a timely manner
- Follow up on missing or incomplete documentation
*Experience*
- Previous experience in a medical office or medical insurance environment is required
- Familiarity with medical terminology and records systems is preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic health record software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
