Job Description

Job Summary:

The Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Nurse Coordinator manages the high-risk patients health status across the continuum of care (pre and post natal). Identifies patients for MFM care, and coordinates with physicians, staff and outside resources to develop a comprehensive treatment plan. Monitors clinical activities, collects data, and evaluates the effectiveness of interventions. Performs telephone triage and serves as a resource to patients, answering questions and providing education.

Specifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required with RN license to practice in the state of RI and at least five to seven years demonstrated clinical expertise in perinatal nursing. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be proficient in personal computer use. Current BCLS and ACLS certification required.
