Position Description :

Serco is searching for an Engineer to support Condition Based Maintenance (CBM). This position will oversee the CBM+ efforts and integration with Integrated Condition Assessment System (ICAS) and the transition over to Enterprise Remote Monitoring (eRM). This Program Integrator will be working with NAVSEA support contractors in support of Condition-Based Maintenance Plus efforts for Naval Ships, expeditionary equipment, and associated systems and infrastructure.


This position will directly support NAVSEA PMS 443 and work closely with other contractors supporting CBM+ and eRM efforts. As a Program Integrator you will provide regular preparation of documentation and presentations in support of communications with program personnel, contractors, and senior leaders. Primary work location in the Washington, DC area with moderate travel.


In this role, you will:

  • Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical recommendations for CBM+, ICAS, and eRM maintenance programs.
  • Support external capability integration and interface design efforts between NAVSEA contractors and government representatives.
  • Coordinate closely with multiple government and industry stakeholders to establish policies, processes, strategies, and priorities for CBM+, Integrated Condition Assessment System (ICAS), and Enterprise Remote Monitoring (eRM) programs.
  • Supporting development/analysis/execution of communication plans, budget requests, risk assessments, or metrics related to the development, testing, and fielding of CBM+, ICAS, and eRM initiatives, pilots, and Programs of Record.
  • Supporting CBM+/ICAS/eRM community wide meetings and forums.
  • Analyze, validate, and present data for cross-organization processes and policy improvements/initiatives.
  • Conduct data analysis and use of advanced technology to support informed resourcing decisions.
  • Support program and budgetary preparations and reviews and recommend improvements to production and programmatic deficiencies.
  • Analyze and evaluate effectiveness of program requirements throughout the lifecycle.
  • Provide lead duties for developing, integrating, engineering, testing, training, cyber security, and event readiness for CBM+ and associated infrastructure for the Surface Navy.
  • Work with many stakeholders to prioritize CBM+ and eRM simultaneous activities.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 - 4 years of experience in related discipline and/or project management experience.
    • Educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for an additional 2 years of work experience
  • Experience in consulting directly with navy customers.
  • Experience in software programming for military systems.
  • Knowledge of shipboard installations processes (i.e., SCD development and routing, RMMCO requirements, CANES AI-SIT testing, etc.).
  • Experience with DODAF and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Former Senior enlisted with shipboard maintenance program experience or Surface Warfare experience.
  • Condition Based Maintenance experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to travel 10%
In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary for this role is $68,974.77 to $112,085.42 however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
