Member Duties : The Mississippi Urban League is seeking a passionate and dedicated AmeriCorps VISTA Member to join our efforts in Jackson, MS. As an AmeriCorps VISTA, you will work on impactful projects to enhance the well-being of individuals and families in underserved communities. Some of the Member's duties include preparing culturally and socially relevant curricula for MUL programs; engaging in regular communication with external organizations and community stakeholders across the state for input regarding programmatic needs; meeting regularly with the MUL team to learn about intended outcomes; and conducting training of MUL staff to ensure re sustainability of this work.
