Catering Event Operations and Culinary Staff - Part time - $18-23/hour plus excellent tips
We are opening for the season on April 1. Exciting opportunity to make some really good money and work for a unique, one of a kind mobile catering company creating amazing events for private and corporate parties. We prepare and cook fresh Neapolitan pizza on location in our 900 degree wood fired oven from our Blazing Hearth Pizza mobile kitchen at catering events throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

We are looking for great people to join our team as Event Operations and Culinary Staff. There is no other job like being on the crew of Blazing Hearth Pizza. Every event is an opportunity to create an amazing experience for our clients. Our mobile kitchen has a Mugnaini wood fired oven, 60’ TV and beer taps. We cater events from weddings and company celebrations to backyard birthday and grad parties.

You will never get bored. Every event is a different party at a new location. Events last 4-5 hours and we bring out a 4–6 person crew depending on the size of the party. We cater events up to 200 people.

• Hourly pay $18-$23 per hour plus excellent tips (up to $25/hour extra)
• Looking for Part time/Full time Crew who can work - 2 + events each week, either weekdays or weekends or both.
• Hiring Full Season Crew - April through November
• Opportunity for Full Season Team lead - drive pick up truck to each event - extra pay for good driving record.
• Work 2-4 events a week depending on your availability
• Opportunity for additional kitchen prep shifts – to prepare and cook our fresh pizza ingredients and toppings, making dough, cutting and roasting vegetables and portioning for events.

• You will be well fed – pizza break for the crew every event and most events you will take home your favorite pizza.

Here is what you will do as part of our crew:

• Arrive on location at each event and set up the Blazing Hearth Pizza mobile kitchen; tables, tent, cooking and serving equipment, food ingredients and the Pizza Bar.
• Prepare, cook, and serve authentic Neapolitan pizza on display in an open kitchen. You will amaze guests with your pizza skills and friendly hospitality. Clients and guests really enjoy watching our staff stretch the dough and prepare pizza. They will want to talk with you, ask questions, get lessons in stretching dough and most importantly tell you the pizza is some of the best they have ever had. We also serve starters like wood fired wings and dessert pizzas.
• At the end of the event, you will clean up the mobile kitchen, break down equipment and get ready to head back to Medfield to prepare for the next event.

• We are seeking hardworking, friendly people who are passionate about doing a great job and enjoy working with customers.
• Culinary interest and kitchen and food prep experience are a plus but not required. We can train the pizza skills but we need you to bring the passion and excitement for the job.
• Team players only.
• Must enjoy working outdoors
• We work out of a kitchen in Medfield and travel to our events in Eastern and Central Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Must have transportation to Medfield. Shifts are 5-8 hours depending on location of events. Very few late nights.
• Seasonal Business - April through early November - 2-5 events per week plus prep shifts.
• Must be available to work weekdays and/or weekends. Most events are Thursdays through Sundays.
• Experience driving a pick up truck a plus. Higher hourly pay opportunity.
• Bartending TIPs/serve-safe certified a plus. Higher hourly pay opportunity.

Expected hours: 12 – 30 per week
