Key Details:

• Pay: $20-21/hour + tips (average $23-24/hour)
• Benefits: Full-Time employees are eligible for 2 weeks of PTO + Oregon Sick Time + Oregon Saves IRA

• Schedule: We are looking for a full time employee who is available to work Tuesday-Saturday from 4:00AM – 12:30 PM.

Day to Day:Our bakery specializes in butter based bakery items that are made from scratch. We are looking for a morning baker with a well rounded baking background. This candidate will also need to be self reliant, self motivated, have good time management, and be willing to work alone for some of their shift. Must be comfortable with operating a kitchen from start to finish and not shy away from washing dishes & kitchen cleaning duties. Be prepared to wear many hats as we are a small team. We are willing to train the right candidate in certain areas if you feel you are a close match.

Must have -

• Positive attitude
• Comfortable working in tight quarters
• Formal training in baking at culinary school/ Willing to train the right candidate though!
• Understanding of butter based batters: proper creaming method, mixing, etc. (willing to train the right candidate)
• Monitor supply levels and take weekly inventory and order products to ensure kitchen is consistently stocked with all necessary items to execute the full menu.
• Maintain and manage workflows, all operational checklists, standard operating procedures, and company policies.
• Remain aware and responsive of guest and team feedback.
• Ensure the restaurant complies with local health and safety codes and Oregon employment law.
• Perform all kitchen duties as part of the team (prepping ingredients, preparing food orders, opening & closing the kitchen, stocking and cleaning using company checklists, etc).
• Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are: We are looking for person who will have a strong sense of operational efficiency, a passion for the products we serve, and will not be afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive into the day to day tasks. Other requirements include:

• Previous kitchen experience and/or ability to lead a small team.
• Strong understanding of kitchen safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Ability to inspire, engage, train and lead teams when needed.
• Strong professional judgement, organizational and task management skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and provide creative solutions if roadblocks arise.
• Current Oregon Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain one).
• Ability to learn and answer questions about food allergies, and menu offerings in detail.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lb’s regularly.
