Job Summary
Under close supervision, the Mulitmedia Specialist I is responsible for creating content and supporting various roles within the Marketing and Communications department including social media, news media and web content. The Multimedia Specialist writes copy, supports media monitoring, attends media interviews, creates and posts social media copy and supports marketing efforts on social media channels. The position works across all areas of the department to foster growth and career development.
Essential Functions:
- Social media content creation and posting
- Support and produce content for all social media accounts, acquisitions, and integrations for Denver Health, including monitoring and responding to comments/direct messages and overseeing partner pages.
- Work with content creation team in developing social-specific marketing content.
- Publish and schedule content on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other organization social media channels.
- Identify social media trends and emerging platforms.
- Work with content creation team to create, organize and edit weekly content calendar using content management platforms such as Trello.
- Work in partnership with the marketing manager to develop select Facebook Ad and Boost campaigns and establish campaign metrics with Digital Marketing team.
- Refine and review social media audience metrics, competition data and best practices for campaigns; Produce performance analytics reports.

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Communications or journalism required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong writing skills
- Demonstrated work with social media and marketing
- Basic understanding of public relations
