Job Description

Night Auditor
Reports to: Front Office Manager and General Manager Qualifications: Customer service contact experience Accurate cash handling experience Excellent verbal communications Strong organizational skills and detail orientation Ability to operate computer and office equipment Positive attitude, outgoing and friendly Ability to handle pressure with poise and finesse Professional image in dress and mannerisms Primary Responsibilities: 1. Assists all guests in a sincere and courteous manner to ensure 100% guest satisfaction. 2. Registers and processes guests promptly upon arrival and departure. 3. Operates PBX switchboard in an efficient and professional manner, receives and transfers calls, accurately sells rooms, and makes reservations. 4. Listens to guests and anticipate needs or concerns before a problem occurs. 5. Maintains clean, neat and professional appearance of front desk area. 6. Demonstrates the use of sales techniques to effectively sell the property and maximize occupancy and revenue. 7. Responds to guests' requests for assistance in handling normal and emergency situations. 8. Enters data to complete daily management operations reports. 9. Performs all guest accounting functions according to established hotel operating procedures to ensure all guest accounts are complete and accurate. 10. Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel and local area. 11. Complies with all of the hotel's standard operating procedures. 12. Understands and applies all required safety and security procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and guests. 13. Records adequate information for group blocks to be reported to the appropriate management personnel. Secondary Responsibilities: 1. Processes necessary departmental reports. 2. Provides assistance to all other employees to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel. 3. Delivers towels, cribs, roll-a-ways and general assistance to guests when requested. 4. Monitors building and responds to emergencies as needed; i.e., shutting off water valves, gas valves, fire alarms and operating other systems as required including elevators, fire extinguishers and securing building. 5. Clears snow and applies salt to entrance and sidewalks during winter months. 6. Performs additional duties as assigned by front office manager, assistant general manager or general manager.7. Assist with setting up breakfast buffet.
Hours: Friday and Saturday 11:00PM - 07:00am

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
