UMSAz is seeking applicants for a full time Clinical Track Faculty position for its graduate online programs (Transitional Occupational Therapy Doctorate, PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences and Doctor of Science in Movement Sciences). This 12-month contract position provides excellent opportunities for teaching, clinical practice, research and other scholarly activities.

The successful candidate will be an occupational therapist whose faculty duties will include the development and teaching of program curricula, research/scholarly activity, and university service. Additionally, as part of the FTE, 50% release time will be provided for the successful candidate to perform clinical occupational therapy services (evaluations and treatments) within the university's clinic.

Qualifications for the position include an occupational therapy doctorate (OTD) OR an occupational therapy degree (BS, MS) and a PhD, DSc or terminal degree (ABD will be considered) in a related field. The individuals must possess at least 1 year of teaching experience within a higher education setting along with at least 3 years of clinical practice. The candidate must also possess research knowledge that is commensurate at a doctoral level. The individual should have an occupational therapy license to practice in Hawaii or be eligible for licensure in Hawaii.
