```Duties:```
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure proper scheduling and availability
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the scheduling system
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of patient appointments
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any concerns or issues
```Experience:```
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or dental receptionist preferred
- Familiarity with medical records systems and patient service processes
- Proficient in medical scheduling software such as Eaglesoft or Epic
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Scheduler plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient scheduling of patient appointments and providing exceptional customer service.
