Job Title: Office Assistant
Job Summary:
At Continuum Home Health Care we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Assistant to join our home care team.
As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our administrative and operational functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our home care services. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for providing exceptional care to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the home care team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining client records.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Assist with client intake and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
- Coordinate and schedule client visits, ensuring proper staffing and adherence to care plans.
- Communicate with clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address any concerns.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Assist with on call one night per week and one weekend per month
- Prepare and distribute reports, documents, and correspondence as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to privacy regulations.
- Perform general office duties, such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in using office software (e.g. Mondays, axiscare email, spreadsheets).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Knowledge of home care industry practices and regulations is a plus.
