OFFICE ASSISTANT
Job Description: Busy law firm located in Woodbridge, NJ is seeking an assistant to help with front-end responsibilities and assist the finance department. The candidate should be highly organized, dependable, detailed orientated and able to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
Manage the opening and closing of files.
Retrieval, delivery and pick up of files within the building. Moving boxes within the building (often requiring heavy lifting).
Inputting, updating and searching for data in the records management system.
Filing as needed.
Stocking supplies.
Monitor and delivery of copier paper to copiers throughout the office.
Picking up and dropping off mail at local post office; car required.
Phone support as needed.
Perform any other duties required by the position.
Assist Finance Department as needed.
Requirements:
Reliable and dependable.
Roll up your sleeves approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with MS Excel.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
Must be detailed orientated.
Experience using QuickBooks is a plus.
Ability to effectively communicate with attorneys and secretaries.
Organize workflow and use time efficiently.
Follow through and follow up on own initiative with minimum direction.
Ability to show attention to detail.
Law firm experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.13 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.50 per week
