- Collection of documents and classification, Timely filing of Entry/Entry Summary, Processing and imputing documents Upload documents and maintain accuracy
- Manage and organize files, both physical and digital
- Timely handling of statements
- Sort incoming mail, voicemails and faxes immediately and forward the right information
- Providing impeccable customer service
- Maintaining customs compliance documentation
- arranging delivery and invoicing
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Reviewing and monitoring Customs
- Adhering to domestic and international shipping regulations
- Collaborating with other customers to deliver excellent customer service
- Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
- Payroll Processing
- Support HR functions, including but not limited to, employee on boarding, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Assist in recruiting, resume review and scheduling interviews
- Assist with safety program schedule safety training
- Communication of clearance status to Import staff
- Good communication skills within the office, field and customers
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
- Perform other administrative tasks and duties as needed to support the efficient functioning of the office and its employees
- Performing assigned duties as required
Qualifications for Office Assistant :
- 0-2 years of Entry Writing experience
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in all tasks
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office preferred
- Proven analytical skills or willing to learn
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- You have experience operating in a fast-paced environment preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
