Job Description

Job Overview:

The Royal Ballroom is seeking an experienced Venue Coordinator to join our team as an On-Call Venue Coordinator. As an On-Call Venue Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all events at The Royal Ballroom. This role requires excellent organizational skills, assertiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with vendors who are delivering and setting up their equipment.
  • Confirming the evening’s timeline with the event coordinator.
  • Enforcing all venue policy during the event
  • Monitoring all vendor to ensure no damages during setup and breakdown
  • Coordinate with team members to address and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Ensuring the venue is clean and well-maintained.
  • Ensuring and enforcing timely setup breakdown and departure of attending guests.
  • Conducting a pot-event walkthrough with clients to ensure facility cleanliness and no damages.
  • Other duites as needed.

Experience:

  • Previous experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role preffered, but not required
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.50 - $23.30 per hour

Schedule:

  • Weekends as needed
