Job Title- Opera Cloud Functional Consultant

Location - **Remote**

Roles and Responsibilities

• Understand and evaluate existing systems and analyze how well it meets the business requirements.

• Lead the implementation of Oracle Opera Property Management System (PMS) for client stakeholders from project initiation to post-implementation support.

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations.

• Configure Oracle Cloud Opera PMS based on client stakeholders’ specifications, including room types, rates, packages, and other property management settings.

• Conduct system testing to ensure that all configurations meet client stakeholders requirements and are functioning correctly.

• Provide ongoing support to client stakeholder’s during the implementation process and post-implementation phase, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.

• Work closely with project stakeholders, including hotel managers, IT teams, and other consultants, to ensure successful project delivery.

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to hotel property management systems.

• Setting up Opera cloud – end to end implementation.

• Monthly Support – handling queries related to On-premise and Opera cloud for both functional and API queries.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience implementing Oracle Opera Property Management System (PMS) in the hospitality industry.

• Proven track record of at least 2 end-to-end implementations of Oracle Cloud Opera PMS.

• Strong understanding of hotel operations and property management processes.

• Proficiency in configuring and customizing Oracle Opera PMS to meet client stakeholders requirements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with client stakeholderss and project stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.

• Prior experience providing training and support to end-users is preferred.

• Oracle Opera certification is a plus.

• Passion for creating customer value through innovative technology solutions

• Superior analytical, problem-solving, quantitative, and critical thinking abilities

• Strong people skills to lead collaboration across functions and organizations.

Compensation - The annual salary for this position is between $120,000.00 – 160,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
