G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add to the Operations Manager operations in Will Rogers World Airport(OKC)

Title: Operations Manager

Pay Rate: $60,000 per year

Shift: Fulltime

The ideal candidate will have two (2) plus years of supervisory experience and at least two (2) years of airline operations experience. This position supervises the day-to-day ramp operational activities for the United Airlines contract and reports to the GM.

What does an Operations Manager do?

• Manage the day-to-day operations, primarily responsible for scheduling/staffing, managing daily budgeted hours, and limiting overtime.
• Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS)
• Implement a safety plan for the station
• Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues relating to performance and safety, providing suitable corrective and preventative actions where necessary
• Perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary.
• Train/retrain all personnel in airline procedures, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Responsible for the scheduling of all airport employees, ensuring adequate coverage
• Maintain good employee relations. Handle employee problems efficiently and effectively
• Client Relations – Effectively communicate with senior airline management and project a positive image in responding to airlines, staff, and public inquiries
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achieving company objectives
• Perform other duties as requested

What skills are required to Join the Team?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of progressive supervisory or management experience (Required)
• Two (2) years of experience in airline operations (Required)
• Supervisor/Manager experience in airline operations (Preferred)
• Experience managing schedules and budgets and tracking performance metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, and data entry.
• Adaptable and flexible to an ever-changing work environment.
• Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation.

Language Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
• Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public
• Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills
