Operations Manager

Description:

The Operations Manager is involved in managing and overseeing multiple projects necessary to the success of the organization. Multi-tasking skills are required. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. Experience with budgets including management and development, Excel spreadsheets and report creation is required. Knowledge and proficient use of databases is desirable. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are necessary combined with a desire to serve others.

· Oversees day to day operations of a Blessing Baskets programs along with ability to determine prioritization in order to accomplish goals of the organization

· Complies with requirements, strategies and procedures governing a program to ensure the programs and the organization is operating at maximum efficiency

· Is self-motivated and has the ability to look for opportunities to increase capacities and efficiencies, collaborate in setting goals for organization

· Maintains records and statistical data and generates reports for all programs to present monthly to the board of directors and for any grants received as needed

· Authorizes program expenditures to stay within budget limitations

· Purchases tangible items for distribution in programs

· Assists in the pickup, delivery, and recording-keeping of supplies, equipment, and distributions and is able to present the current inventory when needed

· Coordinates assembly of program goods and program distributions

· Monitors and coordinates the activities of volunteers in conjunction with the Director of Community Relations relating to assembly and distribution

· Evaluates the effectiveness of programs and provides suggestions to the Board for new methods aimed at greater success and capacity

· Organizes and maintains client files, program records and database to ensure currency of records

· Maintain confidentiality of clients including personal data and organizational records

· Display positive and professional attitude with public at all times

· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including phone, face-to-face, text, and email with ability to work effectively and professionally with all stakeholders

· Highly proficient in the use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) databases, Canva

· The successful individual will have a strong motivation to execute programs to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those the organization serves.

· Maintains a safe working environment

· Performs all other duties as assigned

· Nonprofit experience a plus

· Associate’s degree in business, management, communication, or closely related field preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
