Aeromag is looking for a solid Supervisor based in our LGA International Airport station. In this key role, you will be responsible for all operational functions of the de-icing center. This position is a resource for all the employees and is reporting directly to the Operations Managers. This position ensures that the employees always follow all procedures and standards and respect safety policies and procedures during operations. You will be asked to display leadership, respect your employees and colleagues and lead by example.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Operations Managers on duty for all operational tasks.
  • Assigns the de-icing trucks in preparation for the de-icing operations.
  • Assists personnel in de-icing technics.

· Assist personnel during de-icing and snow removal operations.

  • Fills up Icehouse / Iceman positions when needed.
  • Act as a practical trainer during the operations and the training sessions.
  • Ensure that equipment and vehicles are used correctly.
  • Supervises the fill up station’s operations.

· Assist in the environmental monitoring and required analysis.

  • Makes sure that distributed tasks are well executed (ex: maintenance, dips, etc.)

· Ensure that all distributed tasks are performed correctly.

· Participate and animate pre and post operations meetings.

· Is responsible to offer and maintain a safe work environment and follows up on safety policies and standards. Ensure that safety policies and standards are followed.

  • Follows up on the ratio board and vehicle repair board.
  • Assists the Operations managers during the technician’s performance evaluations.
  • Participates to the briefing and debriefing meetings.

· Attend to the reception of the Glycol and related documentation.

· Assist / manage the recovery and disposal of Used Glycol.

· Assist in monitoring the inventory of glycol, fuel, and necessary equipment.

  • All additional tasks required from the Operations Managers.

Required Skills and Certifications

· Aptitude in all Office 365 products, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

· Supervisor and leadership experience

· Presentation / teaching skills.

· Respect for employees and colleagues.

· Team player.

· Professionalism, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Considers health and safety as a top priority.

· Must work flexible hours according to the needs of the operations.

· Able to pass a 5-panel drug test.

· Must have a valid Driver’s License.

· Able to obtain a SIDA badge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
