Outreach Sales Manager - School Supplies

(Part-time, supplemental income, hourly + commission based)

Join Sprout School Supplies, the top-rated provider of fully customized prepackaged back-to-school supply kits for schools and districts. We’re seeking to add two Outreach Sales Managers to join our growing team and help partner with local school administrators and parent organizations (PTA/PTO) to increase awareness and adoption of our supply kit program.

In this part-time position based in our Topeka office, your focus will be guiding schools through all aspects of running an effective Sprout Supply Kit program. You will lead all areas of the sale – from finding partner schools to ensuring smooth delivery of supply kits onsite.

This position will require you to work onsite in our Topeka office.

Position Responsibilities:

* Manage regional market of Sprout partner accounts.

  • Build and maintain relationships with local school administrators and parent groups to improve brand awareness and program adoption.
  • Assess customer needs, market trends and local insights to grow market share across assigned regions.
  • Support our program strategy and execute corresponding tactics across all channels.
  • Participate in weekly sales-marketing-leadership meetings.
  • Manage all aspects of the Sprout sales pipeline.
  • Support Sprout sales and operations team members throughout the season with key administrative tasks, such as quote creation, customer service and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • A self-starter, who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

*Ability to make cold/warm outreach contacts to prospect accounts. This role will require frequent outbound calling and work via email

  • Ability to independently move projects forward and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

*Highly motivated with a proven track record of achieving targets.

  • Strong negotiation and selling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with strong time and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or other related fields.
  • Experience working with schools or parent groups

Benefits:

  • Flexible Schedule with a maximum of 25 hours a week (Mon day-Friday 7 am-5 pm).

Compensation

  • $18 per hour with the potential to earn up to $25,000 in sales commission (paid out at the end of the season)

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
