The outreach specialist will be responsible for executing activities to contact healthcare providers and lay the groundwork for onboarding those providers to public Health Information Technology (HIT)/Health Information Exchange (HIE) services. The outreach specialist will also be responsible for conducting and tabulating customer surveys.
Responsibilities
· Contact providers via multiple channels (primarily telephone) to promote public HIT/HIE services.
· Identify relevant provider internal stakeholders and participants in the HIT/HIE onboarding project.
· Contact providers whose information in the company's internal systems may be incomplete or whose status with regards to HIT/HIE adoption is unknown and gather relevant information.
· Conduct and tabulate customer surveys associated with their onboarding experience.
· Capture and direct provider service requests to appropriate company staff.
· Capture and enter data in the company's internal systems resulting from program activities.
Desired Experience and Skills
· 2-3 years’ experience in customer service, telemarketing, or similar.
· Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networking, and applications technologies.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving and skills.
· Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish - written and oral).
· Use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
