Your Role as a Outside Sales Representative:

  • Drive Sales and Market Expansion: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share for ABB and Baldor-Reliance electric motors.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Engage with OEMs, end-users, and channel partners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with the marketing team to track industry trends and develop impactful strategies.
  • Exceed Sales Targets: Consistently achieve and surpass sales quotas through effective relationship-building and strategic selling.
  • Maintain Organized Records: Keep detailed and accurate records of sales activities to ensure seamless operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Background: An Associate's or Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in an industrial environment, preferably in industrial sales.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office, MS Teams, Salesforce, and Power BI.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel extensively within the territory, including some overnight stays.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive and driven mindset to seek out and develop new opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree: A Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial electric motor products and applications.
  • Sales Expertise: Experience and training in the sale of industrial electric motor products.
  • Exceptional Communication: Ability to educate, influence, and build lasting relationships with customers.
